Description

Free Accident Reports, a Division of Mightier Legal, is seeking a full-time Legal Intake Specialist to join our rapidly-growing team. We connect individuals involved in car accidents and need legal assistance with attorneys in their area. This role requires excellent high-volume phone skills, persuasive communication abilities, and a talent for explaining complex information clearly and concisely.


The ideal candidate will have a background in legal intake or sales, with the ability to effectively communicate the benefits of legal representation to individuals who have been in car accidents. While we never ask for payment from clients, this position demands sales-like skills to articulate why speaking with an attorney is crucial after an accident.


What you'll do

  • Make 100–150 calls a day, primarily outbound with some inbound
  • Qualify leads, build trust quickly, and connect qualified leads to our attorney network
  • Document interactions accurately in our intake systems
  • Produce clean, consistent hand-offs, the more you produce, the more you earn
  • Work closely with a small, performance-driven team


Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

  • Excellent phone presence and persuasive communication
  • 1+ years in an intake or phones-heavy role(s)
  • Comfortable with high volume and fast pace
  • Strong self-direction for remote work (this is a fully remote position)
  • Reliable equipment, dedicated workspace, high-speed internet
  • Must live in one of the following states: TX, GA, FL, NC, or SC


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior legal intake or insurance claims experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus
  • Knowledge of auto insurance processes
  • Understanding of legal rights after car accidents
  • Experience in a call center environment
  • Experience making upwards of 100+ calls a day


Compensation (Non-Negotiable)

We offer a solid base pay, and real money in commission that you earn every month. Here's a more detailed breakdown (this is non-negotiable, need not apply if this does not fit your comp needs):

  • Probationary period (first 60 days): $20/hour plus monthly commission on signed leads
  • After 60 days, once you're producing in line with the team: $45K base salary, PTO, full benefits eligibility, and continued monthly commission
  • Solid performers earn an additional $1,500–$2,000 a month on top of base
  • Our top performer consistently earns over $4,000 a month in commission alone


Realistic total compensation, year one:

  • Solid performer: $60,000–$75,000
  • High performer: $80,000+


Base pay can grow over time for reps who meet and exceed performance expectations — but it's earned and at the company's discretion, not an automatic schedule. The reliable, uncapped growth in this role is commission, paid monthly, so as your production climbs, your pay climbs with it.


This is a commission-heavy role by design. We're looking for people who want to earn based on what they produce, not coast on a base. The upside is real, it's uncapped, and it pays off every month.
