Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and dependable Electrician with experience in residential and multi-unit electrical work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for exchanging and installing new lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, and electrical panels across different units. This role requires solid knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), experience working in occupied and unoccupied spaces, and a commitment to safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Replace existing light fixtures, outlets, and switches in individual residential units.
• Install new lights, switches, and receptacles per design or upgrade specifications.
• Add or relocate circuits and wiring as needed for additional loads.
• Replace electrical panels ensuring code compliance.
• Perform voltage testing, load balancing, and breaker coordination.
• Accurately read blueprints, schematics, and layout diagrams.
• Coordinate with other trades and site supervisors to avoid conflicts and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain clean, organized, and code-compliant workspaces in each unit.
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed work and report progress to supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a residential or commercial electrician.
• Proficiency in light fixture installation, switch and outlet wiring, and panel work.
• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local code requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or lifts.
• Frequent walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting.
• Comfortable working in small crawl spaces, and occupied units.
