Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter Window Installer to join our construction team. This role requires experience in the installation of windows along with the ability to repair surrounding drywall and stucco finishes. The ideal candidate has strong finish carpentry skills, understands applicable building codes, and takes pride in high-quality, professional work.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for window installation.
  • Measure, and prepare rough and finished openings for window placement.
  • Secure windows using fasteners, sealants, insulation, and flashing according to code and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Repair and patch interior drywall and exterior stucco around window openings to match existing finishes.
  • Apply proper caulking and sealing to ensure waterproofing and energy efficiency.
  • Trim and finish interior and exterior window casings.
  • Inspect completed work for quality, weatherproofing, and smooth finish transitions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety at the job site.
  • Communicate effectively with team members.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of carpentry experience with a focus on window installation.
  • Proven ability to repair drywall and stucco finishes around installed windows.
  • Skilled in using hand and power tools safely and efficiently.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Comfortable working on ladders, and in varied weather conditions.
  • Frequent standing, bending, climbing, kneeling, and lifting.
