Description

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of patient observation, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and assisting with mobility devices like Hoyer lifts
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and support residents’ needs
  • Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful, person-centered care

Duties

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
  • Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA privacy regulations
  • Support residents with memory care, dementia, Alzheimer's, and autism-specific needs through specialized techniques
  • Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts and perform heavy lifting safely to ensure resident comfort and safety
  • Maintain clean and organized living spaces by performing light housekeeping tasks and ensuring infection control standards are met
