Role Overview

The Custom Homebuilder Account Manager is a relationship-driven sales role focused on securing painting scopes for custom homebuilders. This position is designed for a professional with existing, high-quality relationships in the homebuilding industry. The Account Manager is responsible for pricing, negotiating, and closing agreements. After contracts are executed, projects are transitioned to the operations and project management teams for delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage existing builder relationships to secure new construction painting scopes
  • Develop long-term partnerships with custom homebuilders
  • Perform takeoffs, prepare pricing and proposals
  • Close agreements and ensure smooth handoff to operations
  • Act as the primary sales contact for builder accounts (pre-construction through contract execution)
  • Identify opportunities to expand volume within builder relationships
  • Follow company processes to ensure clean handoff to PM

Compensation & Structure

  • Base salary: Flexible and negotiable based on experience and needs
  • Custom commission and incentive structure built around individual goals

Salary

$90,000 - $160,000 per year
