Description

Micromerch is seeking a motivated Account Specialist to join our team. The role supports both valued customers and our experienced Account Management team. The ideal candidate will be adept at using technology, excel at friendly customer service, and able to manage multiple priorities at once. This role is for someone who cares about details, enjoys creative problem solving, and believes in serving others with positivity. While this role is primarily based at our facility in Milford, Ohio, we support hybrid work after your first 90 days. We are also open remote work for the ideal candidate.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for our valued customers, responding to their inquiries via email and chat during business hours.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with customers by understanding their business needs and supporting their success through our products and services.
  • Monitor progress of orders in production to ensure on-time delivery, consistently meeting in-hands dates. Help resolve problems that could result in delays.
  • Setup products in our expansive digital catalog to enable our team to efficiently process sales orders.
  • Setup products on customers' online stores and ensure all data syncs accurately to our warehouse management system.
  • Research and populate detailed customs information for customers' products to ensure smooth customs clearance and timely delivery.
  • Import fulfillment orders from customers into our warehouse management system using a web-based form or spreadsheets.
  • Resolve global fulfillment challenges related to customs clearance, incorrect addresses, lost shipments, and other common issues.


Qualifications

  • 1+ years in a customer-facing role with emphasis on delivering a great experience.
  • Knowledge of promotional products industry including common decoration methods and business use cases.
  • Ability to engage with customers professionally via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Capable of drafting clear, concise messages via email and chat to answer customers' questions.
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and responsibility in following through on commitments.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and Slack. Airtable and Shopify are a huge plus!
  • Familiar with generative AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and Google Gemini.

Salary
