Micromerch is seeking a motivated Account Manager to join our team. The role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, from initial inquiry to final delivery. The ideal candidate will be adept at curating quality products, excel at friendly customer service, and able to manage multiple projects at once. While this role is primarily based at our facility Milford, Ohio we support hybrid work after your first 90 days.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managing inbound sales inquiries via email, phone and chat. Oversee customer accounts from initial discussions through successful delivery, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and achievement of sales targets.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers by understanding their business needs and providing product recommendations. Proactively follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and identify new growth opportunities.
- Create compelling and detailed proposals using Google Slides or similar presentation software, aligning product offerings with customer goals. Ensure recommendations highlight our focus on quality and sustainability.
- Procure physical samples of recommended products to help customers select the right products for them.
- Process orders by accurately entering detailed information into our order management system. Update status of orders as production is completed.
- Share mockups with customers for approval prior to order production starting to ensure expectations are met.
- Provide exceptional customer service by resolving inquiries or issues related to products or orders. Ensure a delightful experience from order placement to delivery.
Qualifications
- 1+ years in account management, sales, or a related role, with a strong focus on managing customer relationships and meeting sales goals.
- Knowledge of promotional products industry including common decoration methods and business use cases.
- Effective at managing multiple accounts and orders simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
- Ability to engage with customers professionally via phone, email, and in-person.
- Capable of drafting clear, persuasive proposals and messages.
- Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and responsibility in following through on commitments.
- Proficient in Google Workspace, Slack, and CRM software. Airtable is a huge plus!
