As Program Manager, you have a keen eye for detail and a facility with developing and managing systems for tracking finances, grant deliverables, and program elements. You are our core grant compliance whiz!

Description

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Help manage energy and sustainability-related projects at partner sites (e.g., solar installation, upgrading electrical systems, installing heat pumps– it may be helpful for you to have a general familiarity with these types of building improvements, though technical knowledge is not required), ensuring their timely execution, and ensuring the tracking of energy use and savings 
  • Coordinate with contractors and partner sites to submit and pay invoices, process change orders, and ensure the completion of all necessary documentation
  • Ensure meticulous compliance with state and federal grant requirements, including reporting on financials and program deliverables
  • Represent Michigan IPL in meetings with partners


What You’ll Bring:

  • 3 years of nonprofit program experience  
  • Experience with state and/or federal grants desired
  • Demonstrated ability to center justice and equity in your analysis and work
  • Strong computer skills and ability to grasp new software and virtual platforms (critical to our ability to collaborate remotely)

Location:

Salary

$60,000 - $65,000 per year
