Swim Coach for 10 & Under Practice Group
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Age Group Swim Coach to lead our 10 & Under age group swimmers.
This coach will be responsible for a diverse group of athletes, ranging from state champions / finalists to swimmers working towards divisional standards. The ideal candidate will embody our motto of "Whatever It Takes," demonstrating a commitment to supporting, motivating, and inspiring our swimmers both in the pool and in life.
Core responsibilities:
• Coaching: Lead swim practice for our 10 & Under age group (2-5x/week late afternoon and/or weekday evening hours, weekend meets optional), ensuring alignment with the Head Coach's vision and the club's overall objectives. Written dryland and a framework for in-water workouts will be provided practices. Coaching at swim meets approximately one weekend / month
• Culture Development: Foster a positive and supportive team culture, emphasizing the club’s core values and philosophy.
• Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, swimmers, and the broader coaching staff.

• Goal Setting and Athlete Development: Develop personalized goal-setting plans for swimmers and monitor their progress, focusing on both short-term and long-term goals.
• Administrative Duties: Assist with administrative tasks related to the age group, such as meet entries, attendance tracking, and performance analysis.
Qualifications:
• Previous coaching experience at the club, high school, or collegiate level or previous collegiate swimming experience.
• USA Swimming Coaching Certification (or willingness to obtain before employment).
• Knowledge of competitive swimming techniques, training programs, and athlete development.

Compensation & Hours:
$20-$30 / hr for practices, based on experience and qualifications. $14/hr for coaching at swim meets.
