Overview:
We are seeking a 16 or 17 year old current or former competitive swimmer to assist coaches with our 10 & Under age group swimmers for both swim team and swim school.
This Jr. Coach will be responsible for assisting coaches & swim school instructors on deck during practice, classes and/or meets. The ideal candidate will embody our motto of "Whatever It Takes," demonstrating a commitment to supporting, motivating, and inspiring our swimmers both in the pool and in life.
Core responsibilities:
Assisting on Deck: Assist coaches and instructors at practice and/or during meets for our 10 & Under age group (weekday evening and weekend shifts available), ensuring alignment with the Head Coach's vision and the club's overall objectives. Written dryland and a framework for in-water workouts will be provided for practices. Coaching at swim meets available approximately one weekend / month.
Culture Development: Foster a positive, friendly, encouraging, & supportive team culture, emphasizing the club’s core values and philosophy.
Administrative Duties: Assist with administrative tasks related to the age group, such as video taping swimmers for stroke analysis, taking attendance, and skill tracking.

Qualifications:
Previous club or high school swimming experience.
USA Swimming Junior Coaching Certification (or willingness to obtain before employment).
Knowledge of competitive swimming techniques, training programs, and athlete development.
Availability at least one evening a week (Mon-Thurs), Saturday mornings (regularly), or at 10 & Under sessions at swim meets.

Compensation & Hours:
$14 / hr
Shifts available: Weekday evening, Saturday morning and 10&Under Sessions at swim meets

$14 - $14 per hour
