Travel MRI Technologist services on Siemens, GE, or Hitachi experience needed.
Job Description:
· Performs MRI diagnostic imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions according to department procedures and protocols
· Locating and recording internal elements of the body and identifying any anomalies indicative of disease, injury, or other medically significant conditions
· Monitoring the patient for any physical or emotional changes during the procedure
· Evaluating images for accuracy and clarity
· Communicating preliminary findings to physicians as requested
· Distributing completed test results to radiologists and healthcare providers
· Preparing diagnostic information for radiologists' interpretation
· Maintaining patient charts, updating file systems, and entering diagnosis and billing codes into patient information systems
· Cleaning and sterilizing equipment and work area
· Identifying equipment malfunctions and requesting repairs as needed
· Educating patients on pretest preparation and answering any questions they may have
· Staying current on technical advancements through continued education and training programs
· Administering contrast agents under the guidance of the site Radiologist
· Ensuring certification to practice in all states where services are provided
· Performing equipment quality checks and troubleshooting issues, contacting service for repairs as necessary
· Adhering to quality assurance guidelines and maintaining patient confidentiality
Experience:
· Minimum of three years of experience working with Siemens, GE, or Hitachi MRI machines
Certifications:
· Certification in MRI by ARRT or ARMRIT required
· Current BLS/CPR certification is necessary.
$3,000 - $4,100 per week
