Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in CentOS/RedHat Linux operating systems (Versions 6.5 and 7.x), including configuration of detached network storage, LDAP management, network interface configuration, firewall, and syslog configurations.
  • Strong experience with Ansible for configuration management.
  • Familiarity with GitLab or similar configuration management utilities.
  • Proficient in scripting languages like Bash.
  • Fluent in Puppet configuration management tool.
  • Experience with the open-source SIMP software suite and its functionalities.
  • Technical understanding and excellent communication skills to provide customer integration support.
  • Experience working within Agile development framework, including writing User Stories and Acceptance Criteria, participating in Sprint Demos, and effectively communicating with Product Owners.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Python programming language.
  • Familiarity with C++.
  • Knowledge of Docker containerization technology.
  • Experience with Foreman.


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).


As a Software Engineer III - Mid-Level Developer, you will play a vital role in integrating FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) products and tools into disconnected environments while adhering to stringent security and customer requirements. Your responsibilities will include identifying and resolving bugs and shortcomings in the code base, providing Tier 3 support to end-users on Linux, Puppet, or SIMP-related issues, and troubleshooting performance problems on production systems. Additionally, you will implement, review, and package codebase to deliver a cohesive product, along with comprehensive supporting documentation. Your expertise will contribute to the seamless functioning of our software solutions in complex environments, ensuring high performance and reliability.
