Required Skills:

  • 3 or more years of experience as a Linux administrator or Power User, with a preference for Red Hat derivatives.
  • Proficiency with Git for version control.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Ruby (preferred), Python, PERL, etc.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic about continuous learning.
  • Experience or familiarity with Puppet 4.0 and later.
  • General system administration skills, including managing services like LDAP, BIND, DHCP, PAM, and NFS.


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of Software Engineering (SWE) experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.


As a Software Engineer II - Developer, you will possess a comprehensive understanding of the full Operating System stack and be responsible for managing and automating Linux tools and services using Puppet. You must demonstrate adaptability to thrive in a rapidly changing and fast-moving environment, with a strong focus on security, including familiarity with SSL and PKI, and a keen understanding of systems integrity for compliance purposes.
