Description

We are seeking an experienced and business-minded Sr. People Operations Business Partner (POBP) to align our people strategies directly with business goals. In this role, you will serve as a strategic advisor to leadership, a trusted coach to managers, and a driver of scalable HR programs across performance, talent development, retention, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Business Partnership: Embed deeply with assigned business units to understand their operational goals, workforce needs, and organizational design challenges.
  • Performance & Talent Management: Oversee performance evaluation cycles, talent reviews, succession planning, and individual development plans.
  • Employee Relations & Compliance: Lead complex employee relations investigations, resolve conflicts, and ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
  • People Analytics & Insights: Leverage HR metrics (attrition, engagement, eNPS, time-to-hire) to identify trends and recommend data-driven solutions.
  • Manager Coaching: Mentor mid-to-senior leaders on effective management, retention strategies, team communication, and difficult conversations.
  • Process & Program Scaling: Design and implement scalable HR operations across onboarding, compensation benchmarking, benefits engagement, and offboarding.
  • Culture & DE&I: Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives while actively fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3+ years as an HR Business Partner or People Ops Manager (preferably in fast-paced or tech environments).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Certifications (Highly Recommended):
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is strongly preferred to drive complex, multi-functional HR initiatives and strategic workforce transformations.
  • Professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR) are highly recommended.
  • HRIS Proficiency: Experience with modern HR tools (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, Rippling, Lattice, or Culture Amp).
  • Skills: Exceptional conflict resolution, data analysis, employment law knowledge, project management, and communication skills.


Salary

$110,000 - $211,000 per year
