Compensation: $20.00 - $26.00 / hour (Based on experience)

Job Description

META Endodontics in Deerfield, IL is seeking a skilled, reliable Endodontic Dental Assistant to join our patient-focused team. In this full-time role, you will work closely with our endodontist to perform high-quality root canal therapies, microsurgeries, and emergency trauma treatments. You will play a vital role in ensuring patient comfort, maintaining strict clinical protocols, and keeping our operatory running efficiently during our standard weekday shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Chairside Assisting: Provide efficient, four-handed assistance during root canals and surgical procedures.
• Radiography: Capture clear digital X-rays and 3D CBCT scans for diagnosis.
• Infection Control: Sterilize specialized files, rotary instruments, and tools according to OSHA and CDC guidelines.
• Patient Care: Prepare patients for treatment, alleviate anxiety, and explain post-op care.
• Documentation: Accurate electronic charting and updates to patient medical histories.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dental Assistant certificate or formal training.
• Valid X-ray certification.
• Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and endodontic instruments.
• Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft).
