As a Cashier at Mercado Rita’s, you’ll be the face of our shop—greeting customers, handling purchases, and sharing product knowledge with enthusiasm and professionalism. You’ll help maintain the look and feel of the store and work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide excellent service
• Operate the register and handle transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Restock shelves and assist with merchandising
• Answer customer questions and offer helpful product information
• Uphold store policies and represent Mercado Rita’s with professionalism
• Collaborate with the team to ensure a positive store environment

Requirements:

• Reliable, friendly, and professional demeanor
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• Retail or cashier experience preferred but not required
• Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays (store is closed Sundays)
