About Melrose
Melrose is building the AI connectivity layer for the global supply chain.
AI is becoming the new operating system for work, but global logistics still runs on emails, PDFs, spreadsheets, portals, phone calls, and EDI. That gap is why moving goods is still harder than it should be.
We’re building the first AI CSR to support global logistics teams and change the way goods move around the world. Melrose automates the quote-to-delivery workflow, mapping real world atoms to digital bits.
We’re an operator-led team of ex-Sequoia backed founders with experience from Flexport, Uber, and Amazon. We’re backed by leading Silicon Valley investors who also back Rippling, Ramp, SpaceX, and Polymarket.
About the role
As a Senior Software Engineer on GTM Platform at Melrose, you will build the systems that power how we go to market. You will work across CRM, sales workflows, product data, integrations, internal tools, and automation infrastructure to help our team sell, onboard, support, and expand customers more effectively.
You will work directly with Dhaman (CEO) and our technical executive team. You will have tight feedback loops with sales, growth, operations, and engineering, and real influence over how Melrose scales its commercial engine.
What you’ll do
- Build and own the internal systems and product infrastructure that support sales, growth, onboarding, and customer operations
- Design workflows across CRM, enrichment, lead routing, account scoring, pipeline visibility, and automation so the GTM team can move faster with less manual work
- Partner closely with sales, operations, and leadership to identify bottlenecks in our revenue engine and turn them into scalable systems
- Build integrations across internal and external tools, including CRM, sales engagement, enrichment, support, analytics, and customer data systems
- Develop internal tools and user-facing workflows that improve how we manage pipeline, customer onboarding, implementation, and account expansion
- Create clean data models and reliable syncs across systems so teams can trust the information they use to operate
- Improve speed and quality of execution for the GTM team by automating repetitive workflows and reducing operational drag
- Work across backend systems, APIs, event flows, and lightweight product surfaces as needed to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Help define the architecture, engineering standards, and long-term roadmap for GTM Platform at Melrose
What you’ll need
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience shipping production systems
- Experience building backend systems, integrations, internal platforms, or workflow automation tools
- Comfort working across APIs, data models, third-party systems, and business-critical operational workflows
- Strong product instinct and the ability to translate vague internal pain points into clear technical systems
- Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and leadership and build tools that match how teams actually work
- Clear judgment on where to build custom systems, where to automate, and where to keep things simple
- High ownership and urgency. You do not wait for perfect specs
- Strong communication and the ability to explain technical tradeoffs simply
Nice to haves

- Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, Attio, Apollo, Clay, Segment, or similar GTM tooling

- Exposure to analytics, attribution, lead scoring, or customer data infrastructure
- Startup experience, especially in environments where engineers work closely with commercial teams
- Exposure to logistics, freight, supply chain, or operations-heavy software environments
What success looks like
- GTM workflows that are faster, cleaner, and more reliable as the company scales
- Less manual work across sales, onboarding, and customer operations
- Better visibility into pipeline, customer health, and commercial performance
- Internal tools and automations that the team uses every day because they actually solve real problems
