Responsible for driving Mela sales, distribution and engagement in retail stores in New Jersey

Description

  • Responsible for driving Mela street sales and brand engagement in the stores in your area by increasing Mela distribution and availability in stores.
  • Conduct compliance visits to ensure Mela Water products are available and merchandised in the right areas of store. 
  • Engage with Store Managers and Franchisees to convert them to Mela brand advocates and educate them about the product so that they recommend to customers. 
  • Drive brand engagement in the top stores through running events, placing point of sales items and conducting in-store demos. 
  • Build strong relationships with stores in your area and become the expert of stores, understanding what motivates them and how they operate. 


Requirements:

*****Must Reside in Central or Northern New Jersey****

  • Charismatic and energetic individuals, interested in building a career in CPG sales and marketing as well being a part of a start-up.
  • Determined and resilient, capable of handling rejection and remaining relentlessly motivated to succeed even on tough days. 
  • A passion and interest in the Mela brand.
  • Previous experience in store level selling and marketing is a bonus. 
  • Willing to travel inter-state and stay away when required. 
  • A natural ability to sell
  • Valid state driver’s license


Additional Requirements

  • Travel requirements across your territory.
  • Some lifting and the movement of moderate loads require 50-pound lifting requirement.
  • Willingness to work outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, based on business demands.
  • The ability to sit, stand, walk, and type for long periods of time.
  • Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions.
