Position Overview
The Remote Cardiac Technician will be responsible to review, interpret, and manage cardiac implantable electronic device reports. This role is responsible for analyzing device transmissions (pacemakers, ICDs, CRT devices and ILRs). The ideal candidate combines strong clinical knowledge of all major device manufacturers (Medtronic, Abbott/St. Jude, Boston Scientific, Biotronik).
Key Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and interpret CIED remote transmissions
- Identify and appropriately escalate abnormal device function, arrhythmias, and clinically significant events
- Ensure timely communication of reporting to providers and care teams
- Collaborate with internal clinical staff to support workflow optimization to support high‑quality patient care
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all applicable regulatory and organizational policies
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in nursing, cardiovascular technology, or a related clinical field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in cardiac device management (in‑clinic and/or remote)
- CRAT/CCT certification
- Demonstrated competence with computers and standard office software
- High level of attention to detail and ability to work independently
Schedule & Location
- Full‑time position (40 hours)
- Hybrid model: mix of remote work with in‑office presence at Northern California office at least 30 hours per week
