We are seeking to hire a Business Coordinator to support our business development goals. Applicants must be able to resume during the month of November, 2022. This is a part-time (5- hours per day) and fixed-term role with a 1 year duration from the start date. Based on a performance review may be converted into a permanent full-time role. We operate on an on-site first hybrid work model, with an allowance for remote work on Wednesdays. The Business Coordinator's on-site work location shall also be split between our two locations in San Francisco, which are within 15 minutes from each other.
Ability to analyze and communicate technical concepts and insights to interdisciplinary and diverse teams in a concise manner.
Ability, especially under pressure, to be professional, courteous, and tactful in dealing with staff and clients.
Ability to establish clear priorities and multi-task in a high-volume setting responsive to externally generated deadlines.
Exceptional ability to meet multiple deadlines in a dynamic research and development environment.
Strong customer-service skills with ability to find and implement creative, compliant solutions to satisfy customer needs

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a business, management, biology, engineering or science related field required
Experience with business administration, sales and/or marketing for small business/start ups is a strong bonus
Experience working with medical device professionals, engineers, or doctors, is a strong bonus
Occasionally exerts up to 30 pounds of force and/or exerting a small amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull and move objects. Involves walking or standing for periods of time.
Scientific laboratory / medical / engineering / manufacturing setting.
