Your duty as the Human Resources Director is to ensure all MLBH (Meaningful Life Behavioral Health, LLC) Employees are meeting the DES/DDD requirements for all departments and subsidiaries of MLBH. This role oversees the HR Assistant role and ensures the HR Department follows all local agencies guidelines and Arizona Law. The Human Resource Manager role is responsible and not limited to the creation of job descriptions, posting, ensuring disciplinary action is conducted, and staff retention is kept.

Description

Responsibilities: 


  • Assists with Implementing HR Software as needed for MLBH 
  • Ensures all employees are properly trained, knowing all HR guidelines 
  • Manages New Employee Orientations 
  • Ensures ALL MLBH schedules are completed in a timely manner by HR Assistant 
  • Has weekly meetings with House Supervisors to go over any issues and to discuss updates regarding staff 
  • Meets with Attah and Consultants Business Development Director to make updates on all HR including, not limited to the Employee Handbook, Policies, Procedures, Reviews, Documents etc., to ensure compliance 
  • Creates Job Postings, conducts interviews, and Sets Interviews for other department managers/directors as needed 
  • Investigates all staff related disputes, such as; sexual harassment, abuse and neglect, policy violations, etc 
  • Meets with Attah and Consultants Business Development Director regarding making edits to workers compensation and insurance 
  • Manages PTO and Sick Leave  
  • Ensures employees timecards are accurate before turning in for payroll 
  • Ensures background checks, attestations, searches and certifications are accurately completed and tracked 
  • Works with Quality Management to ensure certifications do not expire and new employees obtain certifications within 90 days of hire 
  • Manages audits and ensures proper records are maintained 
  • Runs performance reviews  
  • Ensures points tracker is being maintained with accurate information 
  • Turns in clean expense reports into Executive Director for Accounting 
  • Completes work verifications  
  • Conducts House Visits to ensure all staff are following MLBH guidelines reports any issues or concerns to the Executive Director and Quality Management Director  
  • Responsible for disciplinary actions, including termination with approval from Executive Director 
  • Handles all MLBH Job Fairs, and hiring events with approval from Executive Director 
  • Manages the Monthly Staff Meeting Agenda Creation (Must send to Executive Director for final approval before sending out) 
  • Responsible for all employee files 
  • Meets with Executive Director to ensure department running effectively and to allow visibility into any concerns or issues being addressed 
  • Ensures all employees have the necessary documents required by DES/DDD 
  • Assists with all Office changes, purchases, and updates as required by Executive Director 
  • Issues company badges upon hiring new MLBH staff 
  • Other HR duties as assigned or needed by Executive Director 

Skills: 

  • Knowledge of all Office Functions 
  • Preferred experience in DES/DDD rules and regulations  
  • Attention to Details and Problem Solving 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office  
  • Familiarity with Kingman and surrounding areas 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications  
  • Must Have: High School Diploma/ GED 
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card 


Salary

$50,000 - $55,000 per year
