Description

Department: Corporate Office/Human Resources 

Reports To: Human Resources Director  

Position Type: Full-Time 

 

Job Description: 

Your duty as the Human Resources Assistant is to carry out confidentiality and assist in any human resources duties as needed. This role will be focused on ensuring files are kept up to date and accurate, as well as assisting with the day-to-day operations of the human resources department.   

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Meets with HR Director weekly to go over performance and any updates 
  • Drives office van to run applicants to get fingerprinting completed 
  • Assist with employee files and employee query searches as assigned 
  • Assist with New Employee Orientation, Trainings, and Meetings as needed 
  • Ensures all hard copies of employee files are up to date 
  • Scan and upload all employee docs to drive 
  • Generate and maintain files, spreadsheets, and documents needed by the HR Department 
  • Meets with Group Home Supervisors, Group Home Operations Manager(s), Directors, and CEO weekly to go over updates, issues, and/or concerns 
  • Meets with CEO/Owner as needed for assigned duties/tasks 
  • Assists with Job Fairs, and hiring events 
  • Responsible to audit each expense report(s) turned into the HR department and turn in the company expense report to the HR Director for accounting and approval 
  • Sends reminders to HR Director and Quality Management Director on Certification Expiration to ensure all staff are compliant with DES/DDD 
  • Assists HR Director with ensuring the schedule is posted on time and assists with call offs as needed 
  • Assists with MLBH Points Tracker and MLBH Certification Tracker management to always ensure accuracy 
  • Assist with monitoring connecteam messages and answering questions regarding HR questions, meeting/training questions, policy or procedure questions, etc.,  
  • Assists with all other HR duties as needed by the Human Resources Director  

Skills: 

  • Knowledge of all Office Functions 
  • Preferred experience in DES/DDD rules and regulations  
  • Attention to Details and Problem Solving 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office  
  • Familiarity with Kingman and surrounding areas 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications  
  • Must Have: High School Diploma/ GED 
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card 


Salary

$17 - $17.5 per hour
