Position Overview
We’re seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who is passionate about combining professional counseling skills with a Christian worldview. This part-time, W-2 telehealth position allows you to provide therapy to children, individuals, and families from the comfort of your home—while making a meaningful impact through faith-integrated care.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and child therapy sessions through SimplePractice, our secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.
- Integrate Christian principles and biblical perspectives into treatment in a compassionate, client-led manner.
- Develop treatment plans, maintain timely and accurate documentation, and ensure compliance with clinical and ethical standards.
- Participate in supervision and team meetings for support and professional development.
- Maintain professional and ethical boundaries consistent with ACA, AACC, and New Mexico Counseling and Therapy Practice Board guidelines.
Qualifications
- Active LMHC license in the state of New Mexico (required).
- Desire to gain experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and/or families.
- Commitment to integrating faith-based principles with evidence-based practice.
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and self-motivation for remote work.
- Comfort using technology and willingness to learn SimplePractice EMR.
- Required personal liability insurance.
Compensation & Benefits
- W-2 employment with flexible, part-time hours.
- Pay rate: $40 per completed session note.
