We are hiring a Mid-Level Software Engineer to support both application software development and manufacturing testing systems for our ultrasound platform.

This role will initially focus on building and stabilizing application-layer software, then transition into developing acoustic and electrical testing software used in manufacturing and validation environments.


This is a highly cross-functional role working closely with hardware, systems, and engineering teams, with the opportunity to grow into ownership of testing systems over time.


What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain application-level software supporting medical device functionality
  • Design and build manufacturing test software for acoustic and electrical validation
  • Integrate software with lab equipment and hardware systems
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements and translate into solutions
  • Contribute to software architecture and system design decisions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software interaction issues
  • Support improvements in test automation and system reliability

 

What We’re Looking For 

Required:

  • Strong proficiency in Python
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
  • Experience with Git version control
  • Experience with GitHub and continuous integration
  • Experience working with hardware-integrated or lab-based systems
  • 2+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and collaborate effectively


 Preferred:

  • Exposure to testing frameworks or automation
  • Familiarity with C/C++, multithreading, or systems programming
  • Experience in medical devices or regulated environments


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $115,000 – $145,000
  • Eligible for participation in an annual bonus plan and stock-based compensation, subject to company performance and board of directors approval

The expected salary range for this position is $115,000 – $145,000. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
