Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and estimate labor, material, and service resources per the established Planning Process
- Generate accurate and complete planning packages
- Constructively resolve priority, scope, job step, and resource requirement issues in partnership with Operations and Maintenance resources during the planning stage
- Team with schedulers to develop scheduler skills and understand how planning affects scheduling
- Critique and adjust plans/task list for completed jobs based on information returned from work execution crafts and supervision as well as seek feedback from the work execution team
- Notify the Master Equipment Data Owner of any equipment changes or BOM changes
- Assist with work order/notification closures and documentation as required
- Provide weekly communication to assigned Area Operations and Maintenance personnel pertaining to planning progress of assigned work
- Provide input and support for turnaround planning when requested
Qualifications & Skills for Success:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a planner in the petrochemical industry (preferred)
- Ability to understand field changes and red-line drawings
- Ability to coordinate the work activities and schedules of multi-craft field work crews
- Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Familiar with MOC process and PSSR (pre-startup safety reviews) process
- Basic safety training and/or site-specific training
