Matalegion Consulting Group is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager (1099 Contractor) to join our team. This is a remote, commission-based position open to candidates based in the USA and Europe. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the hospitality industry, a proven track record in generating leads and closing deals, and the ability to develop strategic partnerships that align with our consulting services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the hospitality industry, focusing on hotels, resorts, and related sectors.
- Develop and maintain relationships with decision-makers, including hotel owners, operators, and investors.
- Present Matalegion Consulting Group’s services to potential clients, emphasizing our expertise in hotel operations, finance, food & beverage, human resources, and more.
- Collaborate with internal teams to customize service offerings based on client needs.
- Meet or exceed sales targets through proactive lead generation, networking, and consultative selling.
- Track and report on business development activities, pipeline, and performance metrics.
Requirements:
- Minimun of 5 years experience
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the hospitality or consulting industry.
- Strong network within the hospitality, hotel, or travel industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely as a 1099 contractor.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to exceed expectations.
- Familiarity with hotel operations, food & beverage, finance, and human resources consulting is a plus.
