We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate College Support Coordinator to join our team. The CSC will play a key role in supporting college students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) as they pursue their academic, social, and career goals. The College Support Coordinator will serve as a mentor, advocate, and resource—providing direct assistance, coordinating accommodations, and collaborating with campus staff, families, and community partners to ensure student success. Description

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to college students with IDD to help them navigate academic and campus life.
  • Assist with developing study skills, time management, and organizational strategies.
  • Support students in accessing campus resources (disability services, tutoring, career center, library, student activities).
  • Coordinate with professors, disability resource centers, and campus staff to ensure appropriate accommodation is in place.
  • Encourage social integration by supporting participation in clubs, events, and peer activities.
  • Monitor progress toward academic and Individual Program Plan (IPP) goals, maintaining accurate records of services provided.
  • Communicate regularly with families, supervisors, and support teams regarding student progress, needs, and concerns.
  • Assist students with job readiness and internship preparation, including resume building, interview practice, and workplace skills.
  • Support independent living skills such as transportation training, budgeting, and daily planning as appropriate.
