Description


 As a Behavior Technician at MASSSVCS LLC, you will play a critical role in providing direct ABA therapy to individuals with developmental challenges. You will work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans in both functional and community settings. Your primary responsibility is to support our clients in acquiring essential skills, promoting independence, and fostering meaningful participation in their communities. 

Key Responsibilities: 


  • Implement ABA treatment plans created by BCBAs and Clinical Supervisors to address client-specific goals, including communication, social skills, daily living skills, and behavior reduction. 
  • Provide 1:1 support to clients in their natural environments, such as homes, schools, and community settings. 
  • Collect accurate data during each session to monitor progress and inform necessary adjustments to the treatment plan. 
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve your skills and understanding of ABA strategies. 
  • Collaborate with the client's family and caregivers to ensure consistency in therapeutic interventions across all environments. 
  • Maintain professional and timely communication with Clinical Supervisors regarding client progress and challenges. 
  • Ensure that client sessions are engaging, goal-directed, and structured to promote skill acquisition and generalization. 
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and company policies while ensuring the safety and well-being of each client. 
  • The employee may be asked to perform tasks that are not listed in the responsibilities. 


Qualifications: 

High school diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelor's degree in Psychology, education, or a related field (preferred). or Completion of 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training or certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) (preferred). 

Possession of, or ability to obtain an appropriate, valid Class “C” California Motor Vehicle Operator’s License. 

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or related experience (required). 


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with clients and their families. 

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to track data and follow through on assigned tasks.

Schedule: 


  • Flexible 
  • Evening shift 
  • Monday to Friday 
  • Weekends as needed 


Incumbents of this position are required to commit to a set schedule for six-month upon hire. 

Introductory Period: 

You will undergo an introductory period of six (6) months from your start date. During this time, your performance, conduct, and overall suitability for the role will be evaluated. 

Physical Demands and Working Conditions: 

Driving, standing, sitting, reading, and verbal communication. Employees may interact with upset clients and/or public and private representatives in interpreting and enforcing departmental policies and procedures. 

Salary

$22 - $28 per hour
