We are currently seeking a PMHNP student to join our team for a field placement experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and compassionate student to gain hands-on experience working with a team of mental health professionals, including our experienced psychiatric nurse practitioner, in a real-world clinical setting.
Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient assessments and treatment planning under the supervision of a licensed PMHNP.
- Participate in medication management and therapy sessions.
- Contribute to the development of individualized care plans for patients with mental health disorders.
- Attend team meetings, case reviews, and patient progress discussions.
- Maintain patient records and assist with documentation following clinic protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to support holistic patient care.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited PMHNP program.
- Strong interest in mental health and patient care.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Passion for learning and providing compassionate care.
- Commitment to ethical and confidential care practices.
