Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual counseling sessions under the supervision of a licensed clinician.
- Collaborate with our team to develop personalized treatment plans for clients.
- Document client interactions and progress in our electronic health record system.
- Engage in regular supervision to reflect on your practice and enhance your skills.
- Participate in team meetings and training opportunities to expand your knowledge and professional network.
- Work with clients to address a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
- Uphold ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality in all interactions.
- Follow expectations set by the host school for internship requirements and responsibilities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Enrollment in a Master’s program in counseling, social work, or a related field.
- A desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others through compassionate care.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with a team.
- The ability to manage your time effectively and balance internship responsibilities with coursework.
- A commitment to learning and growing as a professional in the mental health field.
