Skills you will use daily

• Curb & Gutter Mastery: Set, pour, and finish curb and gutter _ both hand-forming and working alongside slipform curbing machine.
• Infrastructure Finishing: Screed, float, and finish large-scale pavement sections for highways and roads.
• Grade & Elevation: Read grade stakes and use lasers/levels to ensure all surfaces meet requirements for drainage and traffic safety.
• Forming & Alignment: Set and strip heavy-duty steel or wood forms, for curbs, sidewalks, and bridge approaches.

 Skills we are looking for

• Infrastructure Experience: 2+ years of experience in highway, bridge, or heavy civil concrete finishing.
• Precision Skills: Proficiency with power screeds, long handle floats, and concrete tools.
• Blueprint Literacy: Ability to interpret site plans and follow MDOT specifications for concrete strength and finish.
• Machine Operation: Experience operating or feeding a curb machine is a major plus (e.g., GOMACO 3600)
