Qualifications include:

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology
• Licensure as a counselor in the state of Ohio (or ability to obtain licensure)
• Experience in couples counseling (or desire to engage in training)
• Enrollment in Masters program, Internship site availability
• Knowledge of research-driven interventions and therapy techniques
• Excellent communication and active listening skills
• Strong empathy and ability to create a safe and non-judgmental space for clients and couples
• Ability to develop treatment plans and set goals with clients and couples
• Experience with online counseling platforms is a plus
• Experience with or desire to train in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
