Based in Chicago and Germany, MARKT-PILOT is a fast-growing, high-tech SaaS Start Up that helps leading manufacturers increase revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction through market intelligence. We are looking to employ a dedicated and experienced Senior Account Executive to win Tier 1 customers and "big deals" as well as manage high-priority accounts. The ideal candidate should be skilled at analyzing sales performance metrics and negotiating contracts as well as able to identify new sales opportunities through networking initiatives while building and maintaining a sales pipeline with a high conversion rate.


What we expect you to own and run with:

• Leverage your personal industry network to win high-priority opportunities.

• Develop long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers.

• Manage existing customer accounts by ensuring that they remain satisfied with company products and services.

• Develop and implement sales strategies, client service and retention plans, and analyze sales data to inform or update the company’s marketing strategies.

• Identify customer needs and communicate how company products and services fulfill those needs.

• Develop solid sales proposals to persuade potential and existing customers to purchase company products and services.

• Collect customer feedback to determine product and service shortfalls.

Which boxes we need you to check:

• 7+ years' experience in machine manufacturing, ideally selling to service leaders of OEMs OR being in a service leader position, or a service leader yourself (or similar role).

• Extensive knowledge of the machine manufacturing industry and aftermarket business models.

• Have a network with at least 50+ contacts to reach out to in the first 2 weeks to get warm intros.

• Strong knowledge of negotiation techniques, analytical and data-oriented attitude.

• Drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while looking for new opportunities.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Excellent leadership and management skills.

• Problem-solving mentality.

• Enthusiastic and passionate personality. Persuasive, knowledgeable, and trustworthy.

• Advanced knowledge of CRM software (HubSpot preferred).

• Flexibility to travel to different conferences and conventions to network with prospective clients.
