Marathon Moving Services is looking for dependable Movers and Drivers to join our Virginia Beach moving team. This position involves packing, wrapping, loading, transporting, and unloading household and business items while providing professional customer service.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys physical work, likes staying active, and does not want to sit behind a desk all day. You will get paid while getting a workout, working with a team, and learning real moving, packing, customer service, and leadership skills.

Pay and Benefits

Pay is $20–$27 per hour based on experience, reliability, performance, and position. Movers may also earn tips, especially during peak moving season. Tips are not guaranteed, but motivated team members may earn a couple hundred dollars per week in tips depending on job volume, performance, and customer satisfaction.

Health insurance is available for eligible employees.

Responsibilities

* Load and unload furniture, boxes, appliances, and household goods

* Wrap and protect furniture using moving pads, shrink wrap, and proper equipment

* Safely move items through homes, apartments, offices, stairs, elevators, and trucks

* Assist with packing and unpacking when needed

* Protect floors, walls, doors, and customer belongings during each move

* Keep trucks, equipment, and job sites clean and organized

* Provide professional customer service throughout the move

* Follow company procedures and safety standards

* Drivers may be responsible for operating company trucks safely and completing job paperwork

Qualifications

* Must be reliable, punctual, and ready to work

* Must be able to lift and carry heavy furniture and household items safely

* Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods

* Must have a professional attitude with customers and coworkers

* Must be able to follow directions and work well with a team

* Moving, delivery, warehouse, military, or labor experience is a plus

* Valid driver’s license preferred

* Clean driving record required for driver positions

* Must be able to pass applicable background screening

* Must be willing to work some weekends when needed
