Lead and execute on the implementation of customers' environmental program needs in the Mapistry environmental compliance platform, including integrations. Collaborate with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) on the success of the customer and the Product team on new use cases.
As a solutions engineer at Mapistry, you will lead customer onboarding, configure analytics dashboards, integrate with customer software systems/sensors, utilize AI to improve the data collection and/or reporting experience, and provide use cases for product development. You will work closely with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to ensure technical setup is accurate and create compelling content to help customers maximize the value of our software. This is a great role for folks with environmental / engineering backgrounds who love engaging with people and solving technical problems.
Mapistry is environmental software for the companies that make the things we use every day (manufacturing / industrial companies) from toilet paper to cars to wine to concrete in our sidewalks. Companies use our platform to run their environmental programs, ensuring compliance with their air and water permits and waste / fuel regulations.
Core Skills
- 3+ years work experience at a startup or fast paced company
- Strong technical background in environmental/civil engineering or computer science
- Experience with data tools, such as BI tools or SQL, and/or coding (ex. Python/Javascript)
- Curious, creative, and collaborative
- High intensity work ethic (GSD mentality)
- Succinct communicator (oral and written)
- Organized with strong project management skills (you love todo lists/tasks and a structured calendar)
- Customer-centric mindset (and geek out about our customers and their businesses)
- Exceptional analytical, conceptual thinking and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of environmental compliance requirements for industrial facilities OR a very strong demonstrated interest in sustainability / environmental / manufacturing
Bonus Skills
- Experience in SaaS startup with less than 50 people
- In depth knowledge of TRI reporting, NPDES compliance, GHG reporting, air permits (Title V)
