Mapistry Environmental Engineer Berkeley, CA · Full time Company website

An environmental solutions engineer is the implementation lead for customers' environmental and industrial needs in the Mapistry platform with close Customer Success team collaboration for customer relationships and product team collaboration on use cases.

Company Overview

Mapistry enables manufacturing and industrial companies to comply with environmental regulations for air, water, and waste through an easy-to-use software platform. We work with some of the most innovative and coolest companies in the industry, from self-driving vehicles to cement manufacturers. Unlike other EHS software, we only focus on environmental programs, not safety, because it enables us to solve complex environmental challenges better than any other tool.

Role Description

A solutions engineer will use their subject matter expertise of the industrial & environmental space to lead onboarding of customers onto Mapistry, configure analytics dashboards with customer compliance data, and provide use cases for product development. Solutions engineers are part of a small, tight-knit team, and new members are an integral part of scaling Mapistry at a rapid pace.

As the technical advisor to our customers, some of the key duties include:

  • Translating complex air and water permits and other requirements into Mapistry’s software while working closely with the Customer Success team to ensure technical setup is accurate, for ultimate launch and success by the customer
  • Providing insight and actionable advice both internally and externally with the goal of customers getting the most from the Mapistry software
  • Informing the product team of gaps or new features that would significantly add value to the software
  • Researching and developing use cases that provide important context for new or improved software features to aid in the prioritization of software development

Ideally, you are based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate for hybrid work. We’re currently fully remote and exploring 2-3 days / week in our Berkeley office. There is lots of flexibility in this (e.g. some weeks may all be remote).
