POSITION SUMMARY

The KINDERGARTEN TEACHER is responsible for providing high-quality instruction in alignment with MCA curriculum and educational standards while integrating biblical values and a Christian worldview into the classroom experience. This role fosters student growth through engaging instruction, intentional relationship-building, consistent classroom leadership, and strong communication with families and staff.

Elementary Teachers are expected to cultivate a positive, structured, and Christ-centered classroom culture that supports academic achievement, character development, social-emotional growth, and spiritual formation.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver engaging instruction across elementary subject areas using approved curriculum and effective teaching strategies
  • Create and maintain a positive, organized, and Christ-centered classroom environment conducive to learning and student growth
  • Develop lesson plans, classroom activities, and assessments aligned with educational objectives and student learning outcomes
  • Differentiate instruction to support varying student learning styles, abilities, and needs
  • Establish and consistently maintain classroom routines, expectations, and behavior standards
  • Monitor student progress and maintain timely grading, assessments, records, and documentation
  • Communicate professionally and proactively with parents regarding student progress, classroom expectations, and support needs
  • Build positive relationships with students through encouragement, accountability, consistency, and care
  • Collaborate effectively with administrators, support staff, and fellow teachers
  • Support students’ spiritual formation through biblical integration, Christ-like leadership, and daily interactions
  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, professional development, school events, and other assigned duties
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and positive communication in all school-related matters


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred
  • Teaching license/certification preferred
  • Elementary classroom teaching experience preferred
  • Strong classroom management and instructional skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, staff, and administration
  • Strong organizational skills, flexibility, professionalism, and relational maturity
  • Commitment to continuous professional and spiritual growth

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Compensation depends on education, licensure, and experience.

$40,000 - $55,000 per year
