About the Associate for Paid Media Strategy & Insights

Manhattan Strategies is seeking an Associate for Paid Media Strategy & Insights to serve as paid media manager and spearhead strategy, execution and optimization of paid media campaigns across social, programmatic and emerging digital channels. This is a full-time, on site role based in New York City.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, who can translate client objectives into smart media plans, execute campaigns directly within platforms and collaborate closely with creative, analytics and communications teams to drive measurable results.

The Associate will be responsible for owning paid media strategy and execution across platforms including Meta, LinkedIn, X, StackAdapt and related programmatic channels. This role sits at the intersection of media planning, platform execution, creative collaboration and performance optimization.

Role Focus:

• Paid Media Strategy (35%): Supports channel and campaign strategy across paid social and programmatic platforms, developing audience, budget and platform recommendations that align with client objectives and overall communications strategy. Experience with account based marketing is a plus.
• Tactical Media Placement & Optimization (15%): Build, launch, manage and optimize paid media campaigns directly within platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, X and StackAdapt.
• Performance Analysis & Collaboration (50%): Analyze campaign results, to provide reporting and insights and work closely with the firm's teams to inform creative iteration and improve outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Operate effectively in a fast-paced agency environment, making sound, independent decisions while balancing multiple active campaigns and priorities.
• Develop and execute paid media strategies that support client growth, engagement and conversion goals
• Manage campaigns end-to-end within paid social and programmatic platforms
• Monitor performance daily and make data-driven optimizations across creative, targeting and spend
• Partner with design and communications teams to ensure creative assets are optimized for each platform and tactic
• Support client reporting and presentations with clear insights and recommendations
• Stay current on platform updates, new ad formats, targeting changes and measurement best practices

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of paid media or digital marketing experience (agency or consultancy experience strongly preferred)
• Hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns across social and programmatic channels
• Strong working knowledge of platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, X Ads and DSPs like StackAdapt (or similar)
• Comfort working with performance data and making optimization decisions based on results
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Experience working cross-functionally

Benefits & Compensation:

• Total compensation range is $64,000 to $75,000 per year
