Manhattan Strategies is seeking an Associate for Dynamic Design. This is a full-time, on-site role. The best-fit candidate is a seasoned video editor, with an eye for detail, who is skilled in assisting on multiple projects at one time while working with a fast-paced team of designers and communicators.
Description
Responsibilities:
- Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished videos, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client expectations.
- Content Preparation: Organize and manage media files, including importing, labeling, and sequencing video and audio assets.
- Visual Enhancements: Add effects, transitions, graphics, and animations to enhance video quality and storytelling.
- Audio Editing: Sync audio tracks, adjust levels, and incorporate sound effects or background music as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with creative directors, producers, and other team members to execute the vision for video projects.
- Adherence to Brand Guidelines: Ensure videos align with brand standards, messaging, and visual identity.
- File Management: Export videos in various formats and resolutions optimized for different platforms (e.g., social media, websites, presentations).
- Storytelling: Assist in creating compelling narratives through editing techniques and creative input.
- Quality Control: Review and refine videos to ensure consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Learning and Adaptation: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, editing software updates (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects), and new techniques.
- Asset Sourcing: Identify and source stock footage, music, or other assets as needed for projects.
Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years of video editing experience working for a design studio or agency, or in-house as a dedicated designer
- Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media Design, Video Production, or related discipline
- Portfolio showcasing work across visual design, presentation design and animation
Benefits & Compensation:
- Base salary range is $50,000 to $62,000 per year
- Total compensation range is $52,000 to $74,000 per year, which includes quarterly bonus eligibility, profit share and 401(k) employer match
