Responsibilities:

• Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished videos, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client expectations.
• Content Preparation: Organize and manage media files, including importing, labeling, and sequencing video and audio assets.
• Visual Enhancements: Add effects, color correction, transitions, graphics, lower thirds, captions and animations to enhance video quality and storytelling.
• Audio Editing: Sync audio tracks, generate AI voice overs, adjust levels, and incorporate sound effects or background music as needed.
• Collaboration: Work closely with creative directors, producers, and other team members to execute the vision for video projects.
• Adherence to Brand Guidelines: Ensure videos align with brand standards, messaging, and visual identity.
• File Management: Export videos in various formats and resolutions optimized for different platforms (e.g., social media, websites, presentations).
• Storytelling: Develop storyboards and assist in creating compelling narratives through editing techniques and creative input.
• Quality Control: Review and refine videos to ensure consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Learning and Adaptation: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, editing software updates (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition, After Effects), and new techniques.
• Asset Sourcing: Identify and source stock footage, music, or other assets as needed for projects.

Qualifications:

• 1 to 3 years of video editing experience working for a design studio or agency, or in-house as a dedicated designer
• Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media Design, Video Production, or related discipline
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (AfterEffects and Premiere Pro), Figma and Illustrator skills a plus
• Portfolio showcasing work across visual design, presentation design and animation

Benefits & Compensation:

• Base salary range is $50,000 to $62,000 per year
• Total compensation range is $52,000 to $74,000 per year, which includes quarterly bonus eligibility, profit share and 401(k) employer match
