Manhattan Strategies is seeking an Associate for Design. This is a full-time, on-site role. The best-fit candidate is a seasoned artist, with an eye for detail, who is skilled in assisting on multiple projects at one time while working with a fast-paced team of designers and communicators.
Description
Responsibilities:
- Graphic Design: Create visual content for digital and print materials, including social media posts, brochures, banners, and presentations.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency across all materials.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, communications, and development teams to understand project goals and deliver creative solutions.
- Design Tools Mastery: Use industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar tools to produce high-quality work.
- Feedback Incorporation: Receive and implement feedback from team members and clients to refine designs.
- File Management: Organize and maintain design assets, templates, and project files for easy access and future use.
- Mockups and Prototyping: Create visual mockups and prototypes to present ideas and test concepts before final production.
- Trend Awareness: Stay updated on design trends, tools, and best practices to bring fresh and innovative ideas to projects.
- Production Support: Assist in preparing files for production, whether for print, digital publication, or other mediums.
- Problem-Solving: Provide creative solutions to design challenges, ensuring projects meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
- Learning and Development: Expand skill sets by exploring new tools, techniques, and areas of design, such as UX/UI or motion graphics.
Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years of graphic design experience working for a design studio or agency, or in-house as a dedicated designer
- Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media Design, Marketing, or related discipline
- Portfolio showcasing work across visual design, presentation design and animation
- Previous experience in technology, industrial automation and healthcare industries a plus
Benefits & Compensation:
- Base salary range is $50,000 to $62,000 per year
- Total compensation range is $52,000 to $74,000 per year, which includes quarterly bonus eligibility, profit share and 401(k) employer match
