Manhattan Funds is building a next-generation, multi-brand food platform across Go Bagels, Go Coffee, and Go Chocolate — and we’re looking for a People & Talent Manager to build and lead our entire hiring and HR function.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who can operate across the full employee lifecycle — from sourcing candidates to onboarding and training.




🥯 What You’ll Do

You will own and execute all aspects of talent, HR, and onboarding across multiple brands:

Talent Acquisition

  • Build and manage high-volume hiring pipelines
  • Recruit for hourly staff, shift leads, GMs, and multi-unit roles
  • Support new store openings with full staffing execution

HR & People Operations

  • Manage and maintain all HR systems and personnel records
  • Oversee employee lifecycle (hiring, onboarding, performance tracking)
  • Ensure basic HR compliance and operational structure

Onboarding & Training

  • Design and execute onboarding processes for all new hires
  • Lead onboarding sessions and ensure smooth integration into teams
  • Support and coordinate job-specific training programs
  • Partner with operations to ensure employees are set up for success from day one

Process Building

  • Create scalable hiring, onboarding, and HR playbooks
  • Improve time-to-hire, retention, and team performance
  • Build systems that support rapid growth across locations



🔍 Who You Are

You are a hands-on operator who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to build teams at scale.

You likely have:


  • 4–8+ years in hospitality, QSR, or multi-unit retail recruiting/HR
  • Experience managing end-to-end hiring and HR processes
  • A track record of high-volume hiring
  • Experience with HR systems and ATS platforms
  • Strong organizational and execution skills

You are:


  • Highly versatile and resourceful
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats
  • Detail-oriented but fast-moving
  • Equally comfortable with frontline staff and leadership

Bonus if you’ve:


  • Helped open new restaurant locations
  • Built HR or recruiting systems from scratch
  • Worked in a high-growth or multi-brand environment

💰 Compensation

  • Base salary: $80,000 – $120,000
