Magnolia Health, PLLC is a rapidly growing, patient-centered medical clinic in Forest City, NC, offering integrated primary care, behavioral health services, and specialty services. Our team leverages cutting-edge technology to deliver coordinated, compassionate care across all age groups. We’re seeking a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner to expand access and enhance our care continuum.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, including wellness exams, preventive screenings, chronic disease management, and acute care visits
- Collaborate with onsite mental health providers (psychiatric NP, LCMHC) to address co-occurring behavioral health needs
- Prescribe and manage medications in compliance with North Carolina scope of practice and Magnolia Health protocols
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging) and develop evidence-based treatment plans
- Document all patient encounters in AthenaHealth EHR with accuracy and timeliness
- Participate in telehealth visits as needed
- Engage in patient education on wellness, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices
- Coordinate care referrals to specialty providers and manage transitions of care
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to optimize clinic workflows and patient experience
- Contribute to quality-improvement initiatives, chart reviews, and peer case conferences
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program
- Active North Carolina APRN license (or eligibility to obtain) and national FNP certification (AANP or ANCC)
- DEA registration (or eligibility) for controlled substance prescribing
- Proficiency with AthenaHealth EHR (experience preferred but not required)
- Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and patient-centered communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in integrated behavioral health or collaborative care models
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual visit workflows
- Basic understanding of practice revenue cycle and reimbursement processes
- Interest in participating in community outreach, health education events, and local provider networking
