Designers play a key role in each of the projects our company touches. They need to have the ability to wear many hats and balance a portfolio of retail and hospitality projects. A Designer must work closely with the larger team to help visualize and clearly explain the project direction. They then need to be able to detail and document a project in a way that effectively communicates the design intent to consultants and the clients for implementation.

Designers play a key role in each of the projects we touch. They need to have the ability to wear many hats and balance a portfolio of retail and hospitality projects. Come work with Macon Alley to see how design transitions from concept to reality. We work hard to understand our clients and help move them forward.
As a team member, you will:
- Work through schematic visualization and design intent documentation while providing production support
- Need to have the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams as well as clients
- Learn to have proficiency with account standards
- Gain knowledge of deliverable expectations
- Have the ability to manage time effectively
What we look for:
- Proficient in Revit modeling and documentation
- Proficient in CAD modeling and documentation
- Knowledge of construction documentation, production and detailing
- Ability to translate conceptual design into working drawings
- Knowledge of building codes, ADA guidelines and construction specifications
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
- Working knowledge of SketchUp
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Working knowledge of materials and finishes and their proper applications
