Luneta Radiology is seeking an experienced Vice President of Operations to lead the day-to-day operations of our growing teleradiology practice. This executive leadership role owns clinical workflow oversight, radiologist staffing and scheduling, client relationships, technology infrastructure, and vendor management, and plays a critical part in scaling operations while maintaining service excellence for our hospital and imaging center partners.
The VP of Operations works closely with Luneta’s executive team — including the COO, CFO, and CMO — and with physician leadership to ensure high-quality, reliable radiology services.
• Clinical Staffing & Scheduling: Own radiologist scheduling, PTO/CME planning, backup coverage, and operational escalations.
• Workflow Management: Provide day-to-day oversight of workflow efficiency, coverage, and real-time troubleshooting.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor turnaround times, radiologist productivity, service KPIs, and coverage performance.
• Quality Assurance: Create and manage the peer review process in partnership with physician leadership.
• Client Onboarding & Relations: Lead client onboarding and serve as the primary operational contact for hospital and imaging center partners.
• Technical Infrastructure: Oversee PACS, VPN access, and radiologist workstation implementations and reliability.
• Vendor & Staff Management: Manage internal operations staff, including 2–4 direct reports, and oversee third-party vendors, including credentialing, licensing, and IT hardware/software providers.
• Executive Reporting: Collaborate with the COO, CFO, and CMO to prepare for client quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
• Data & Analytics: Maintain dashboards and reporting for clinical, operational, and financial metrics.
• On-Call Systems: Develop and coordinate administrative and radiology on-call processes.
• Strategic Initiatives: Lead operational initiatives supporting the scaling and long-term growth of the practice.
Required
• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, professional services, or a related industry.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex operational workflows and multiple concurrent priorities.
• Experience working with healthcare providers, physician groups, hospitals, or healthcare service organizations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing distributed teams.
Preferred
• Experience in radiology, teleradiology, or imaging services operations.
• Familiarity with PACS, radiology workflow platforms, and related clinical technology.
• Experience with physician credentialing and licensing processes.
• Salary: $150,000 – $185,000 — highly competitive and scaled to your depth of experience in healthcare and radiology operations. In addition to base pay, this role includes a performance-based bonus structure and opportunities for additional compensation.
• 401(k): Automatic employer contribution of 5% of eligible compensation ($7,500 - $10,000 per year in addition to salary above).
Luneta Radiology operates primarily as a virtual organization. Team members are expected to maintain a dedicated home workspace with reliable internet and phone access. Occasional travel to Chesterfield, Missouri, or to client sites may be required based on operational needs.
This is a W-2, full-time, exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

$150,000 - $185,000 per year
