Lumos Insurance is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack .NET Developer to help modernize our core insurance platforms and develop next-generation applications supporting new insurance products, claims, underwriting, accounting, commissions, agent services, and data initiatives.

This is a hands-on role for a developer who enjoys solving complex business problems, modernizing legacy systems, and leveraging AI tools to accelerate software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET 10, Blazor Server, SQL Server, and Azure.
• Develop new platforms and applications supporting innovative insurance products and business initiatives.
• Build APIs, integrations, workflows, and automation solutions across multiple business functions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality software solutions.
• Leverage AI tools such as Claude and GitHub Copilot to improve development productivity and quality.
• Participate in architecture, code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET 10, ASP.NET Core, Blazor Server, and SQL Server.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and modern software architecture.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools in a professional environment.

Preferred

• Insurance, financial services, or fintech experience.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems.
• Experience with Azure Data Platform, Power BI, or enterprise integrations.
