Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated, empathetic, and skilled Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join our Brookline team. In this in-person role, you will coordinate and administer ketamine and esketamine treatments, ensuring a supportive, safe, and positive experience for every client. As a trusted point of contact, you will enhance the patient journey before, during, and after treatments, working closely with MDs, NPs, PAs, LICSWs/LMHCs, and medical assistants to deliver exceptional care.

Schedule:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday, 8 hour shifts within the 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM time frame.
• Schedule to start will be:
• Monday/Wednesday/Thursday, 8:15am-4:15pm
• Tuesday, 11:00am-7:00pm
• Friday, 10:00am-7:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer esketamine and ketamine treatments, adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with the medical team to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs.
• Establish and maintain therapeutic rapport with clients, fostering trust, empathy, and open communication.
• Monitor clients closely during treatments, managing any adverse reactions and assessing medication responses.
• Educate and support clients and their families regarding treatment processes, potential side effects, and expected outcomes.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless, comprehensive care delivery.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR), documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and medication administration.
• Provide guidance and support to medical assistants and other clinical staff.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in ongoing clinical education within Lumin Health.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 1 year of experience in psychiatric nursing
• Experience with ketamine and esketamine treatments is a plus but not required
• BLS Certification (required)
• Strong documentation and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach with strong communication skills
