About Lumin Health:

Lumin Health is at the forefront of a transformative health movement. Our mission is to make cutting-edge mental health treatments accessible to all, pioneering advancements and broadening reach in mental health care for conditions like depression, anxiety, OCD, and PTSD. We are a leading provider specializing in outpatient ketamine and esketamine therapies.

Why Join Us:

As a Registered Nurse at Lumin Health, you will be a vital part of a compassionate, client-centered team dedicated to transforming mental health care and advancing the conversation around psychedelic medicines. You’ll play an integral role in delivering innovative treatments, supporting patients on their journey toward healing, and working alongside a dynamic, interdisciplinary team in an environment that fosters professional growth.

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated, empathetic, and skilled Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join our Bethesda treatment center located at 4825 Bethesda Ave.

In this in-person role, you will coordinate and administer ketamine and esketamine treatments, ensuring a supportive, safe, and positive experience for every client. As a trusted point of contact, you will enhance the patient journey before, during, and after treatments, working closely with MDs, NPs, PAs, LICSWs/LMHCs, and medical assistants to deliver exceptional care.

Schedule:

  • To start, this role will be Monday through Thursday. Once the site has enough patient volume to support a fifth open day, we would add Fridays to make a Monday-Friday schedule.

  • Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:00am-6:00pm
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12:00pm-8:00pm
  • The role is full-time salaried with benefits. It would be roughly 32 hours per week to start (benefits eligible) and then would move to roughly 40 hours per week (also benefits eligible).

Please note that the above is our best estimation of the schedule at this time, but that it is subject to change based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer esketamine and ketamine treatments, adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the medical team to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Establish and maintain therapeutic rapport with clients, fostering trust, empathy, and open communication.
  • Monitor clients closely during treatments, managing any adverse reactions and assessing medication responses.
  • Educate and support clients and their families regarding treatment processes, potential side effects, and expected outcomes.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless, comprehensive care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR), documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and medication administration.
  • Provide guidance and support to medical assistants and other clinical staff.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in ongoing clinical education within Lumin Health.

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
  • Experience in psychiatric nursing strongly preferred
  • Experience with ketamine and esketamine treatments is a plus but not required
  • BLS Certification (required)
  • Strong documentation and clinical decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach with strong communication skills

Benefits:

  • Competitive annual salary: $40.85-48.00/hour (based on experience)
  • 12 days of paid time off (PTO)
  • Paid holidays per company policy
  • Excellent medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus supplemental coverage
  • 401(k) with matching contributions
  • Opportunities for professional development in an innovative mental health environment
  • Set schedule with a high level of predictability. No weekends and no night shifts.

Physical Setting:

  • Outpatient treatment center
  • In-person role at 4825 Bethesda Ave, Bethesda MD
