Full-Time Studio Manager
Schedule & Location
All hours for this role are worked on-site at the studio; this is not a remote or hybrid position. Your weekly schedule will span opening shifts, closing shifts, and every other weekend at the discretion of ownership

Your key responsibilities include:
Leadership and Team Management
- Recruit, Interview, onboard, and manage both yoga and pilates instructors and front desk sales associates keeping them aligned on goals, LUMA values, and expectations.
- Create and publish the quarterly class schedule on Momence.
- Create and distribute the monthly front desk schedule.
- Stay on top of the daily class schedule and ensure each class is covered by either you or the team. The studio manager is responsible to ensure class coverage. Cancellation of a class is not allowed without written permission of ownership.
- Send out a weekly newsletter updating staff on LUMA news, events, and reminders of responsibilities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the studio staff, providing coaching, guidance, and timely communication.
- Uphold performance management of all staff monitoring punctuality, professionalism, and client interaction.
- Hold staff performance reviews two times annually.
- Support the opening of future LUMA locations, including hiring, onboarding, staffing, sales initiatives, pre-opening events, and studio setup.
Studio Operations
- Maintain the quality of studio equipment and inventory including towels, mats, props, cleaning supplies, and any retail items sold.
- Ensure all front desk systems are followed, including member check-in, phone inquiries and prospecting (general and sales related), guest registration, delinquent account procedures, customer care calls, change requests, and document management.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness, ensuring the studio is clean and functional.
- Report and escalate any equipment issues in a timely manner.
- Manage studio inventory levels, ordering, and restocking.
- Support administration follow-up on late cancellations, waitlists, and client questions and follow-ups, including emails, texts, calls, and in-person communication.
- Following up with clients with delinquent payments and assist with account resolution.
Member Experience
- Build and sustain a welcoming, supportive environment for all staff and clients.
- Foster community in the studio by engaging with students, greeting them by name, and facilitating introductions to other students to create a welcoming environment.
- Serve as the studio contact for students and staff and ensure concerns are handled promptly and positively. Client inquiries should receive a response within 24 hours of receipt.
- Review and respond to class feedback. This includes reaching out to any review of 4 stars and below via email, and 3 stars and below via phone call, within 48 hours of receiving feedback.
Sales & Business Development
- Lead membership sales and retention efforts while achieving monthly goals established by ownership.
- Execute lead generation and outreach strategies to increase memberships and promote LUMA’s wellness offerings.
- Make outbound sales calls to prospective members and introductory offer purchasers.
- Monitor the LUMA Experience tracker and prioritize follow-up with prospective members.
- Support front desk sales initiatives and hold the team accountable for timely prospect follow-up.
- Promote studio-challenges, events, and special offerings to both members and prospective clients.
- Assist with marketing initiatives and event promotion to drive community engagement and studio growth.
Salary
- Competitive starting salary range: $70,000 base plus bonus
