As the Security & Safety Associate, your primary focus will be on daily surveillance monitoring, footage audits, and addressing potential safety concerns before they escalate. By safeguarding our operations, you play a key role in deterring theft, fostering a secure environment, and ensuring the seamless functioning of our facilities. This is not a traditional safety patrol role—it’s about being a proactive problem-solver dedicated to operational integrity and safety.

Description

Primary Area of Responsibility:


Security & Safety Tasks:

  • Monitor surveillance cameras daily to identify potential risks, safety issues, or protocol violations.
  • Pull surveillance footage and conduct regular audits of security systems and protocols.
  • Proactively identify and address safety concerns to prevent incidents.
  • Conduct regular safety checks to ensure all equipment (security systems, alarms, cameras) is functioning properly
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to security and facility status
  • Respond to and manage emergencies, ensuring a safe environment for all


Maintenance Tasks (Nice-To-Have):

  • Perform light maintenance and repairs, such as basic troubleshooting of equipment, minor fixes, or assisting contractors with larger tasks.
  • Ensure facilities remain in working order by addressing minor issues proactively.


Additional Requirements

  • Reliable Transportation: Must have dependable transportation and the ability to travel between multiple store locations as needed.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work days, nights, and weekends as required.

Required Skills / Abilities

  • Proven experience in security operations, surveillance monitoring, or a related role.
  • Familiarity with security equipment such as CCTV systems and alarm monitoring software
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and discretion
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment

Salary

$18 - $25 per hour
