This position combines essential maintenance tasks with security responsibilities to support the overall operations of LUCID. As a Maintenance and Security Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring our facilities, equipment, and security protocols operate smoothly and effectively. We are looking for a versatile and self-motivated individual who can manage their time well, follow directions, and adapt to the varied needs of our small business. Description

Primary Area of Responsibility:


Maintenance Tasks:

  • Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment
  • Performing basic repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Support contractors when professional repairs are necessary
  • Diagnose and fix mechanical issues as they arise
  • Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary


Security Tasks:

  • Monitor access to the property and maintain security protocols to protect personnel, assets, and facilities
  • Pull surveillance footage and conduct regular audits of security systems and protocols.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and implement corrective measures as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to security and facility status
  • Respond to and manage emergencies, ensuring a safe environment for all


Additional Requirements

  • Reliable Transportation: Must have dependable transportation and the ability to travel between multiple store locations as needed.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work days, nights, and weekends as required.

Required Skills / Abilities

  • Proven maintenance experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Ability to use hand and power tools effectively
  • Ability to work on machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts
  • Familiarity with security equipment such as CCTV systems and alarm monitoring software
  • Strong commitment to confidentiality and discretion
  • Professional presentation and attitude
  • Strong time management skills, disciplined and self-motivated
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to early communicate with Guests and other Team Members
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment

Salary

$18 - $23 per hour
